Rams seek stronger showing in 2010
By Bud L. Ellis
The Rhode Island Rams are ready to start on the road to redemption in 2010.
That’s because the Rams didn’t bully anybody around a year ago, going winless in the Colonial Athletic Association and finishing just 1-10 overall.
The season starts with two road games in a row: Sept. 2 at Buffalo and Sept. 11 at Fordham. New Hampshire, which finished first in the CAA North Division last season, comes calling for the home opener and conference opener on Sept. 18.
Following a bye week, October begins with a home game against Brown. Two road games are next, at William & Mary and at Delaware. The Rams return home Oct. 23 to play host to Maine, then close October with a trip to Towson.
Two of the final three are at home: against Villanova and vs. Massachusetts with a trip to Richmond in the middle.
